North American Professional (Managerial / Administration) Certification / Credential for the Superintendent & Administrative Senior staff (for AESs)

North American Qualification or any Foreign Qualification/Training of Professional (Managerial/Administration) Certification/Credential for the Superintendent & Administrative Senior staff (for LPSs)

VII

North American Teaching Certification/Credential or equivalent foreign qualifications for all teaching faculty (for AESs)

North American Qualification or any Foreign Qualification/Training for all teaching faculty (for LPSs)

VIII
Registration of American (Private) School with local Directorate of College Education under Section 3 of the Private Educational Institutions (Promotion and Regulation) Ordinance, 1984.

Accreditation of American Schools with one of the recognized Accreditation Associations in USA such as (ACSI,MSA, NEA, NCA, NA, SA, WA and ECIS)

Representation of IBCC on Accreditation Mission/Visit while processing accreditation of a Pakistani School by an Accreditation Association
XI
Curriculum based on Academic Standards published by North American Professional Teaching Associations in a subject (such as National Council of the Teachers of Mathematics, National Science Teachers Association, etc.) and copy be provided to IBCC on yearly basis
XII
Examination at 10-12 grades by an External Examining Body, i.e. Advance Placement Test(s) by College Board, Princeton, New Jersey, USA, in Elective Subjects of Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical and Humanities/Arts Groups. Mathematics and English will be treated
equal to AP Courses (for AESs) and there will be 10% deduction for these two subjects for LPSs
XIII
Examination of Compulsory Subjects by Pakistani Board(s) for LPSs in Pakistan Studies, Islamiyat/Ethics (for foreigners), and Urdu/any language other than English (for foreigners) for Pakistani Students of the School at 9-10 and/or 11-12 grades on an analogy to UK Examination System
XIV
Three elective subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology) for Science student(s) & three in Humanities/Arts must be offered at 11 & 12 grades corresponding to HSSC level of Pakistan. There must be two electives with AP Courses and for third elective subject there will be 5% deduction for AES and 10% for LPSs

Minimum credits from grade 9-12 in case of local American School(s) must be 24

Separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science

Suitable school building for Primary, Middle and Secondary school sections

For equivalence purposes, periodic inspection of the School by a Committee appointed by IBCC

Each American Embassy/Private School to provide their courses of studies to IBCC for grades 9-12, subsequently notifying changes, whenever made

For Grade 9 and 10, English and Mathematics as AP courses and for three electives 5% deduction for AESs and 10% for LPSs
